Meet Agros Partners

At the 2021 Tierras de Vida virtual gala, audience members had the chance to meet a few of our Agros partners working in Nicaragua. 

First, meet Edwin and Yessica, and their young son, Elwin. Their dreams for their home and for their family’s future are something we can all relate to.

 

 

Next, meet Yader and Blanca. They are a young couple considered a “second generation Agros family. Blanca’s family was living in an Agros village when they met. Listen to their story here.

 

 

And finally, we met Marcial. He was a young soldier forced to fight both sides in the war. He eventually found work on farms, but always working so hard with little to show for it. Now, he is a prosperous farmer, no longer fighting for his life.
