About Agros International

Agros International is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty for farming families in rural Central America. Since 1984, we have empowered communities through land ownership, sustainable agriculture, and economic opportunities. Join us in making a lasting impact!

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and mission-driven individual to join our Development team as a Development Administrative Assistant. This position plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring donor communications, acknowledgments, and events run smoothly — all while supporting the systems and people that make our fundraising efforts successful.

If you enjoy logistics, meaningful work, and being part of a collaborative and purpose-driven team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the production and mailing of donor appeal letters (5–7 times/year)
  • Manage donor acknowledgements at least twice weekly, ensuring timely and accurate thank-you letters
  • Support donation processing and database entry in collaboration with the Office Manager and Donor Information and Operations Officer
  • Maintain and reorder supplies such as stationery, brochures, and postage
  • Coordinate logistics for donor events, including venue booking, catering, and follow-up
  • Assist in planning travel logistics for donor visits with in-country staff
  • Manage automated donor stewardship communications for general, sustaining, and mid-level donors
  • Prepare meeting agendas and briefing materials for major donor and leadership meetings
  • Provide supervision and task support to interns and volunteers, as needed

Who You Are

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); able to quickly learn new software
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communicator
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
  • Customer service-minded with a donor-centered approach
  • Experience in nonprofit development, event logistics, or database work is a plus
  • Familiarity with donor CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) preferred
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
  • Passionate about Agros’ mission and supportive of its faith-based values

What We Offer

  • Hourly pay of $22–26 depending on experience
  • On-site work environment in Agros’ Seattle office, with free parking and access to light rail and bus routes
  • Flexible part-time schedule ideal for students, parents, or professionals seeking meaningful work
  • Opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team creating generational change for families in Central America
