In the spirit of Vision, we are pleased to announce that Agros has been gifted an Endowment Fund!
Loyal Agros supporters have stepped forward to honor and recognize Agros Founder Skip Li by establishing a permanent endowment fund to advance the holistic mission of Agros, for strategic initiatives that help Agros to innovate and find ways to best serve the poorest and hardest to reach families. Skip calls himself ‘an idea man.’ This endowment serves to honor his spirit of innovation, and helps to implement these great ideas as part of our faith in action.
The Skip Li Honorary Endowment recognizes Agros founder Skip Li for his servant leadership, deep care for poor farming families, and dedication to breaking the cycle of poverty.
What is and Endowment?
An endowment is a consolidated pooled fund that lives on in perpetuity. This endowment is housed at the National Christian Foundation, and gifts made to the endowment are invested in the pool allowing for the principal of the gift to continually be invested and generate earnings. Those earnings are then used for Agros’ mission, and especially for support to areas that are innovative and helping Agros to reach families with the greatest need.
