Mil Gracias! Thank You So Much!
2022 raised a record-breaking amount for any Agros event ever. Thank you for being part of this nearly 40 year legacy.
We are so thrilled to have returned to an in-person experience for Agros’ 2022 Tierras de Vida gala to support the holistic and innovative work being done to end poverty for farming families in rural Central America. This is Agros’ largest annual fundraiser. We are so grateful that you came ready to support our families generously. What an inspiring and fruitful evening. We look forward to staying in touch throughout the year and hope you’ll join us October 6, 2023 for next year’s fundraising gala!

HOST A TABLE
Interested in hosting your own table? Here is what we ask of Table Captains:
Before the event:
Invite other generous friends, colleagues, and family members to join you at the gala and fill your table of 8-10 seats. We will provide you with an email invitation you can use to invite your guests.
Day of the event:
Arrive at Fremont Studios by 6:00pm on Friday, September 30, to pick up your Table Captain packet and welcome your guests.
Host your table of guests throughout the evening, celebrating an evening of generosity together.
It’s that simple! You won’t need to ask anyone to make a donation yourself—that’s our job. We need your help in bringing people to the event so that we can inspire them to support Agros.
If you are interested in becoming a Table Captain or a Community Partner (Event Sponsor), please reach out to Relationship Manager, Heather Ringoen, at HeatherR@agros.org.
If you are interested in volunteering or know someone who would be, please email give@agros.org.
If you missed the livestream last year, you can watch the event on our YouTube Channel or click the play button below.
Your support of Agros goes to poor families living in rural areas of Central America.
Be the Hand Up they need to lift themselves out of poverty.
"Why Do You Support Agros?"
"I don't know of any others that focus - even tangentially - on land ownership, wholistic intervention, and empowering individuals to grow over a lifetime."
"Agros is about lifting people out of generational cycles of poverty. Agros equips people with the resources and support to make their own way in their own countries... As a person that has been blessed with freedom, and resources, and opportunities, I want to do my part to provide that to others in this world. That is what Agros does and that is why I support them."
"Agros is holistic and long term in its support of families. It looks at the big, complicated picture and the root causes of poverty... an organization that works to end generational poverty in Central America through land ownership, and more recently through other means."
"[Agros] are the leaders in empowering indigenous people coming from impoverished areas to self-sustain and build their own futures and make a way for future generations. They are good stewards of resources and assist those who sincerely want and are willing to build a future for themselves"
"It is a wholistic ministry that helps purchase land, build basic infrastructure, and provide professional expertise, while respecting and partnering with the community members. Though the focus of the organization is ever evolving in order to use resources effectively for the greatest impact, the opportunity to become a landowner is a unique feature of Agros."
"I have sympathy & concern for the poor and struggling people of Central America and love the approach of giving them hope and a way to become self-supporting, not dependent."
"Agros treats problems of poverty and development from several different aspects: economic, health and well-being, intellectual/educational, social/community, and spiritual. It is a non-profit the uses all its funds and energies to helping others in Central America to become independent, productive, citizens."
