TIERRA NUEVA DOS
A new village! Tierra Nueva Dos is adjacent to Tierra Nueva in the La Dalia region of Nicaragua. An extension of Agros’ village-within-a-village strategy, means farmers are producing high yield crops on smaller plots of land. The village is 20 families total, and is focusing on citrus orchards.

Agros Donor Testimonials
"I don't know of any others that focus - even tangentially - on land ownership, wholistic intervention, and empowering individuals to grow over a lifetime."
"Agros is about lifting people out of generational cycles of poverty. Agros equips people with the resources and support to make their own way in their own countries... As a person that has been blessed with freedom, and resources, and opportunities, I want to do my part to provide that to others in this world. That is what Agros does and that is why I support them."
"Agros is holistic and long term in its support of families. It looks at the big, complicated picture and the root causes of poverty... an organization that works to end generational poverty in Central America through land ownership, and more recently through other means."
"[Agros] are the leaders in empowering indigenous people coming from impoverished areas to self-sustain and build their own futures and make a way for future generations. They are good stewards of resources and assist those who sincerely want and are willing to build a future for themselves"
"It is a wholistic ministry that helps purchase land, build basic infrastructure, and provide professional expertise, while respecting and partnering with the community members. Though the focus of the organization is ever evolving in order to use resources effectively for the greatest impact, the opportunity to become a landowner is a unique feature of Agros."
"I have sympathy & concern for the poor and struggling people of Central America and love the approach of giving them hope and a way to become self-supporting, not dependent."
