Agros

Why Support Agros?

Our Work

Agros works throughout the year in Central America with dozens of poor rural farming families. Many of these families are former day laborers who made just a few dollars a day inconsistently. Now, they are given skills training, the tools and support they need to farm their own land, and knowledge to support market-forward harvesting and processing. This process is not a simple one, or a fast one, but it is a sustainable and long-term one that WORKS to end poverty. The Agros model is not a temporary one, or a band-aid solution, but it is truly solving the root causes of poverty. Just look at our storied 40-year history of working in Central America, with over 15,000 people. We know that this holistic model of supporting poor families with resources they need to become self-sustainable is the one that works. Join us today to give the hand up for these families, not just a handout.
